A free account lets you browse opportunities and get bid alerts. When you’re ready to register as a plan taker or ready to submit to a bid opportunity, you can pick a subscription plan for ongoing access or select Pay-Per-Bid for one-time access.

What to do now
  1. Complete the company details and provide primary contact information below.
  2. Review any optional sections (diverse supplier, categories, agency notifications, additional contacts).
  3. Click Create Account to finish the account setup.
After you create your account
  • You can browse bid opportunities for free, right away.
  • To register or submit to a bid, pick an access option:
    • Subscription plan – Select a plan for ongoing access across agencies to participate in bid opportunities.
    • Pay-Per-Bid– buy access to a single bid opportunity from its bid page (no plan).
    • If the agency covers access, no subscription is required.

IMPORTANT:  It is the vendor's responsibility to keep their company profile information current and accurate to allow system generated email communications to be received throughout the bidding process.  York Region is not responsible for messages that are undeliverable, have an out of office notification, or otherwise do not reach the bidder.

Certified Diverse Supplier

A certified diverse supplier is any business or enterprise that is certified by a Supplier Certification Organization to be more than 51% (majority) owned, managed and controlled by persons belonging to an equity-seeking community or a social purpose enterprise. These communities include, but are not limited to, women, Indigenous people, visible minorities/racialized people, black people, veterans, persons with disabilities and Two Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and additional sexually and gender diverse people (2SLGBTQI+) community. Agencies may request proof of Certification during the bidding process.

Inviting a Contact

In order to add a contact to the company profile, click on the 'invite another contact' button and type the contact name and email address of the person you wish to add.

Your invited contacts will receive an email invitation from the Bidding System to create their own login to the Bidding System  

If you are an invited company contact it is imperative that you create your login from the link contained in the email invitation. DO NOT go directly to the Bid Opportunity website and create a separate vendor account. 

It is your sole responsibility to keep your additional invited contact(s) current and delete any contacts that you DO NOT want to have access to your profile
