The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - This intent of this RFP is to solicit qualified consultant for the provision of the design, contract administration and site inspection for the Keswick WRRF Aeration Blower Replacement Project. The Keswick WRRF is an extended aeration treatment plant with tertiary membrane filtration. The facility is located at 153 Morton Avenue in Keswick, Ontario, and was equipped with tertiary membranes in 2013. The Keswick WRRF currently operates under Amended Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) No. 5048-B38K44 dated September 20, 2018 with a current rated capacity of 18,000 m3/d, and has a future planned total build-out rated capacity of 23,000 m3/day with the addition of a fourth secondary treatment aeration tank. MEETING: The Bidders’ Meeting will be held on November 11, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at the Keswick Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) at 153 Morton Avenue, Keswick, Ontario. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory.
