BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This Request for Pre-qualification (RFPQ)isopentoall qualified commercial janitorial service providers with a minimum of two years’ experience with LEED cleaning processes and chemicals who wish to be prequalified to provide commercial janitorial services to over fifty Regional facilities. The Region is following the LEED® for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (LEED-EB:O&M) green building rating system for the Administrative Centre located at 17250 Yonge Street in Newmarket, the Annex located at 17150 Yonge Street, Newmarket and the Forestry Stewardshp and Education Centre located at 16389 Highway 48 in Whitchurch-Stouffville, and corresponding reports will be required. During the term of the Contract the Region may choose to pursue certifications for additional buildings and will require the Contractor to work closely with the Region to help achieve these certifications. Contractors must hav a minimu of two years experience ewith LEED cleaning processes and chemicals.
