Description: |
The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This work was divided into three main components: Facility Layouts, Piloting and Preliminary Design. The Facility Layout Studies looked at site development constraints, facility requirements and layout, site servicing requirements, cost estimates and approvals. The piloting component sought to confirm, for each facility, the effectiveness of the proposed iron and manganese removal treatment using Greensand and pyrolusite media. Preliminary designs were then carried out for facilities where treatment improvements could advance under a Schedule A or A Class EA. The intent of this Project is to advance with the detailed design, contract administration and site inspection services for the Newmarket Wells 13&16 Facility. For complete bid details, refer to the RFP documents.
