The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Pre-Qualification. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. DESCRIPTION: The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”) intends to procure the deliverables described in Section A of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). This Request for Prequalification (“RFPQ”) is an invitation by the Region to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide the Deliverables in the role of the General Contractors, Mechanical, Electrical and Linear Subcontractors. For complete bid details, refer to the RFPQ documents. MEETING: Bidders are invited to attend a non mandatory information meeting to be held on August 10, 2023 via Microsoft Teams, commencing at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time. All attendees are required to email the Purchasing Analyst listed below (joy.bello@york.ca) on or before 1 p.m., August 9, 2023 to request access to the Bidders’ Meeting. All bidders are encouraged to submit any questions to the Region using the ‘Submit a Question’ feature in the Bidding Website, a minimum of three (3) Business Days before or after the information meeting. The Region will respond to all formal questions as an addendum to form part of this RFPQ. The deadline for submitting questions is five business days before closing. CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (COR™): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not COR™ certified, who have not obtained COR™ equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. QUESTIONS: Questions related to this RFPQ shall be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the ‘Submit a Question’ button.
