July 11, 2022 Re: Contract No. RFTC-406-21-T-20-303 Musselman’s Lake Elevated Tank Mechanical and Electrical Upgrades and Ballantrae Wells 3 and 4 Upgrades On behalf of the Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise you that the contract for RFTC-406-21-T-20-303 has been cancelled. The Region would like to thank you for your bid and invites you to consult the Region’s Bids and Tender website at http://bids.york.ca for further bid opportunities. Sincerely, The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The following is a list of pre-qualified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Pre-Qualification No. PQ-20-301 :
Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Work includes, but is not limited to, facility upgrades at Musselman’s Lake Elevated Tank and Ballantrae Wells 3 & 4 located at 14350 Ninth Line and 15400 Highway 48 in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in the amount of $250,000.00 and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached as Schedules A and B to the Bid Form. MEETING: A meeting for all potential Bidders will be held on April 4th, 2022 commencing at 10:00 am at Musselman’s Lake ET and then will be moving on to Ballantrae Wells 3. Please meet at the elevated tank first (14350 Ninth Line) then head to Ballantrae Well 3 after (15456 Highway 48). Please confirm your attendance to susan.hope@york.ca CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
