The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Work includes, but is not limited to, partial depth removal of asphalt, warm mix asphalt paving and intersection improvements at the following locations: Location ‘A’ – Bathurst Street (Y.R. 38) from 45 m north of Elgin Mills Road West/Teston Road (Y.R 49) to 25 m south of Gamble Road (Y.R. 29) in the City of Richmond Hill; Location ‘B’ – King Vaughan Road (Y.R. 14) from 25 m west of Weston Road (Y.R. 3) to 15 m west of Jane Street, excluding the MTO Bridge, in the City of Vaughan; Location ‘C’ – Highway 27 (Y.R. 27) from 50 m north of Rutherford Road (Y.R. 73) to 240 m south of Major Mackenzie Drive West (Y.R. 25) in the City of Vaughan; and Location ‘D’ – Highway 27 (Y.R. 27) from 130 m north of Kirby Road to 50 m north of King Vaughan Road (Y.R. 14) in the City of Vaughan. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in the amount of $250,000.00 and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached as Schedules A and B to the Bid Form. CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. Crupi & Sons Limited for Contract No. RFTC-345-21-22-151 for Asphalt Removal, Warm Mix Asphalt Paving and Intersection Improvements on Bathurst Street in the City of Richmond Hill, King Vaughan Road and Highway 27 in the City of Vaughan has been accepted in the amount of $5,382,551.80, excluding HST.
