The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK – A general and not necessarily complete or exact description of the work is as follows: The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”) is seeking a contractor to provide access to a cloud-based environmental data management solution (the “Solution”) to be utilized in the ground water resource management decision making processes. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: It is a mandatory requirement of this RFP that all Proponents submit a fully completed response to the detailed questions in the Cloud Security Assessment Questionnaire to evaluate the online service provider’s security measures. If a Proponent fails to submit a fully completed Cloud Security Assessment Questionnaire, the Proposal shall be rejected as non-compliant for failure to meet a mandatory requirement. It is a mandatory requirement of this RFP that all Proponents submit a fully completed response to the detailed questions in the Mandatory Systems requirements table. Proposals that do not meet all of the mandatory system requirements will be disqualified from the evaluation phase of the RFP. ACCESS TO DATA LOGGER SAMPLE FILES - Appendix G - Data Logger Files. Proponents must email Senior Purchasing Analyst, Lynn Charyk, lynn.charyk@york.ca to receive the FTP site log in details. The FTP link will include sample file types that shall be used for review purposes to confirm the proponent's solution can meet the requirements of the RFP. The following file formats are included: One file ending with format type .lev, Two files ending with format type .mon, One file ending with format type .xle.
