The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Deliverables for the General Contractor include, but are not limited to, coordination of subcontractors and own forces to complete all temporary and permanent works associated with the upgrades including training, testing, and commissioning for a complete and functional wastewater treatment facility. Deliverables for the Mechanical Subcontractor include, but are not limited to, supply and installation of the process mechanical equipment, process piping and valves, building HVAC equipment, and ancillary systems to complete the mechanical system upgrades. Equipment associated with the MABR system has been pre-purchased by the Region for installation by the Mechanical Subcontractor. Deliverables for the Electrical Subcontractor include, but are not limited to, supply and installation of smart MCCs, instruments, control panels, power/control/network wiring, testing and terminations, lighting, security system (through pre-qualified subcontractor), new standby generator, and ancillary items to complete the electrical system upgrades. Note that SCADA Integration (PLC/SCADA programing) is being completed by the Region/Consultant and not part of the Electrical Subcontractor Deliverables.
