BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This RFPQ is intended to identify pre-qualified Design-Builders to undertake all detailed design/working drawings, site plan approval, permit issuance, and construction of a community housing development in the City of Markham. A two-phase development is proposed; however, the Region retains the right to issue future RFPs for each phase separately at the Region’s discretion. Respondents must consider Phases 1 and 2 together to ensure that either phase can be developed concurrently or separately and does not preclude the planned future development. This RFPQ is open to all Design-Builders who wish to be considered as a pre-qualified Design-Builder for the proposed Community Housing Development. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Any submissions received from respondents who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
