The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada.
Bids will be accepted from the following list of pre-qualified contractors as per Pre-qualification No. PQ-19-351: • Aquicon Construction Co. Ltd. Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. A Bidders site visit has been scheduled for May 26th and 27th, 2021 commencing at 10:30 am at the YRT Bus Facility located at 55 Orlando Avenue in the City of Richmond Hill to allow subtrades to visit the site. All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario.
Any Bids received from Bidders who have not registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA shall be rejected from further consideration. For further details about COR including the registration process and fees, please contact the Centre for Health and Safety Innovation at 1-800-263-5024 or visit their website at www.ihsa.ca/cor.
