The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS of Responses submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Pre-Qualification. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Region’s Remote Operations Centre (ROC) team remotely manages and operates the water and wastewater systems with over 170 water and wastewater facilities. In order to meet the current and future operational requirements, growth, demands and to support the Departmental Digital Transformation, a newly renovated, ergonomically sound and purpose-built 24/7 Remote Operations Centre will be located at 145 Harry Walker Parkway in the Town of Newmarket on the second floor of an existing Regional facility. The proposed work will include provision of all the labour, material and equipment required to complete the interior renovation and construction to convert the existing change rooms and open workspaces into the ROC (a control room suite) which is approximately 2,500 square feet. The Work will include demolition and renovation of the existing space, upgrading the electrical and building mechanical systems, retrofitting and replacing all the existing light fixtures, data and cabling upgrades for the workstations, control room consoles, monitor and video management system, and SCADA server room. CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
