June 3, 2024 Re: Cancellation of Bid No. RFPC-1102-23 - Detailed Design, Contract Administration and Site Inspection for Aurora Wells 5 & 7 Facility Upgrades On behalf of the Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise you that the bid for RFPC-1102-23 has been cancelled. The Region will be reissuing the RFP for Detailed Design, Contract Administration and Site Inspection for Aurora Wells 5 & 7 Facility Upgrades under the same terms and conditions. All bid takers will be advised when the new RFP is released. The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. As defined in Section B.6 the on-site and excess soil management Qualified Person services portion of the Deliverables must be completed by one of the following subconsultants prequalified under Request for Prequalification No RFPQ-407-21: For this Project, the Consultant shall retain one of the following monitoring well Contractors that was pre-qualified for monitoring well construction and decommissioning under RFPQ-420-21 found in Appendix N.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Engineering Services, Detailed Design, Contract Administration and Site Inspection Services for Upgrades at Aurora Well 5&7 site. The works includes the demolition of the existing facility and construction of a new facility which will include treatment to remove iron and manganese. It will also include a clearwell with high lift pumps. BIDDERS MEETING: Proponents are invited to attend a virtual information meeting which will be held at a date to be determined.
