June 9, 2023 Re: Cancellation of Bid No. RFPC-743-22-75300 Project Monitoring and Control Consulting Services for the West Vaughan Sewage Servicing – Tunnel Phase One On behalf of the Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise you that the bid for RFPC-743-22-75300 has been cancelled. Sincerely, BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK The West Vaughan Sewage Servicing (WVSS) Project was initiated to develop a sewage servicing plan for the communities in the west Vaughan area. The final servicing boundary, preferred sewage servicing solution, size, length and location of the gravity sewer were determined through an Environmental Assessment (EA) Study completed in 2013. The preferred design concept identified in the EA proposed the design and construction of a trunk sewer from Kleinburg Water Resource Recovery Facility to Humber Sewage Pumping Station (“SPS”) (Construction Contracts B and C), and the expansion of the existing Humber SPS from a capacity of 1,700 L/s to 2,400 L/s (Construction Contract A), as further described in Appendix A - Particulars. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this RFP.
