The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposals. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. PREQUALIFICATION REQUIRED: The following is a list of prequalified respondents that have been approved to bid on this Request for Proposals under Request for Prequalification No. RFPQ-2985-25:
Any bid received from proponents not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Construction Management Services for Primary Trunk Twinning Project as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 01) (the “Deliverables”). This project commences from existing SEC connection at the intersection of Valley Farm Road and Finch Avenue, continues east along Finch Avenue and Kingston Road, continues south along Notion Road and along Squires Beach Road, and ends within the to the Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP). For complete bid details, refer to the RFP documents. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT(S):
MEETINGS (Non-Mandatory): For details regarding the site visit / information meeting, refer to the “Meeting Details” section below. 1. Date and Time: Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 9:00 AM Instructions: Go to the Duffin Creek WPCP Admin Board Room. Bidders are required to identify themselves at the security gate and sign in at the Admin Building located at the left side after crossing the first Stop sign. PPE will be required for the site walk including safety shoes, hard hat, and visibility vest. Additional Information: The number of individuals per Proponent shall be limited to 5 persons. The list of attendees prior to the Site Visit date is not required. Each attendee must record attendance using the Sign-In sheet on the day of the Bidder’s meeting. Carpooling is encouraged, as on-site parking may be limited. 2. Date and Time: Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 9:00 AM Instructions: Proponents are required to identify themselves at the security gate and sign in at the Admin Building located at the left side after crossing the first Stop sign. The meeting will be held in the Training Room inside the Maintenance Building. PPE will be required for the site walk including safety shoes, hard hat, and visibility vest. Additional Information: The number of individuals per Proponent shall be limited to 5 persons. Please confirm list of attendees to peter.hwang@york.ca prior to the meeting.
