BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following work at Patterson Creek and Rumble Pond – South Park, on the east side of Bathurst Street (Y.R. 38) in the City of Richmond Hill:
 

• From Mill Street to 180 m south of Mill Street:
  o temporary access construction
  o clearing, grubbing and tree removal
  o structural work for retaining wall construction
  o Patterson Creek channel realignment
  o asphalt trail restoration
  o landscaping and tree planting
  o signage installation
• From 180 m south of Mill Street to 500 m south of Mill Street1:
  o clearing, grubbing and tree removal
  o grading and drainage
  o structural work for bridge crossings, boardwalks and stairs for pedestrians
  o bank stabilization and creek work
  o trail improvements
  o environmental work
  o landscaping and tree planting
  o site furniture and signage installation

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

• CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (COR™): Any proposals received from proponents who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR™) certified, who have not obtained COR™ equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.

• DEPOSIT:

Bid Bond(Digital Bond):  All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of not less than 10% of the Subtotal Contract Amount generated on the Bidding Website in the Schedule of Prices (the “Bid Price”) in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. The form of Bid Bond acceptable to the Region is attached as Appendix E or substantially in the form issued by the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC220 Form) or the Surety Association of Canada. Undertaking to Bond(Digital Bond): Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond. The Undertaking to Bond shall be in the form of a digital Undertaking to Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the province of Ontario. The form of Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region is attached as Appendix F or substantially in the form issued by the Surety Association of Canada, including digital Agreements to Bond or Consents of Surety.
