The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. 
 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 

The Proposed Work includes some or all of the following:
•    The use of hydrovac equipment to daylight underground utilities
•    The removal and relocation of electrical supply lines to streetlights outside of the LID footprint, streetlights to remain in place and be energized during construction
•    The supply and installation of drainage pipe with tie-ins to existing storm sewer
•    The supply and installation of maintenance wells, monitoring wells and clay plugs
•    The supply, installation and removal of temporary construction fencing
•    Retrofits to existing curb resulting in curb inlets and sediment traps
•    The excavation and removal of existing boulevard soil
•    The supply and installation of engineering growing media meeting the Region’s specifications
•    The supply and installation of caliper (wire basket) trees
•    The supply and installation of sod

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

• CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (COR™): Any proposals received from proponents who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR™) certified, who have not obtained COR™ equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
