PLEASE NOTE THAT YORK REGION WILL BE CLOSED FROM MONDAY, DECEMBER 24, 2018 UNTIL TUESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2019, REOPENING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 2, 2019. ANY QUESTIONS RECEIVED DURING THIS PERIOD WILL BE RESPONDED TO WHEN THE OFFICES REOPEN. The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Region requires a service provider to conduct Eligibility Appeal Hearings for its specialized transportation service, Mobility Plus, in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, S.O. 20115 c. 11 and the Integrated Accessibility Standards O. Reg. 191/11; The panel will conduct the Mobility Plus Eligibility Appeal Hearings on behalf of the Region with respect to Applicants who have appealed a decision related to the Applicant’s eligibility or status for the Mobility Plus service.
