BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This RFT is for the prequalified general contractors (PQ-20-26) to bid on the Construction of the new paramedic station planned for the vacant site in the city of Vaughan. PREQUALIFICATION REQUIRED: The following is a list of prequalified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Prequalification No. PQ-20-26
Bidders intending to submit a Bid must be one of the contractors pre-qualified under Request for Qualification No. PQ-20-26 as listed above. Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: The Region has implemented the Certificate of Recognition (CORTM) safety program, endorsed by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA), as a requirement on Regional construction projects. (a) are CORTM certified; DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. The Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Estimated Contract Price.
