The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada.
Brief Description of work: In November 2009, the Regional Municipality of York (“York Region”) completed their Water and Wastewater Master Plan Update (“Master Plan”). The report identified the need to provide additional servicing capacity for the North West Vaughan area in order to meet the future growth servicing demands of the area, which roughly extends from Highway 27 to Highway 50 and includes Kleinburg, to the year 2051. The West Vaughan Sewage Servicing Project was initiated to develop a sewage servicing plan for the communities in the west Vaughan area.
