BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Deliverables include, but are not limited to, road resurfacing at the following locations - Location A – Yonge Street from 50 m north of St. John’s Sideroad to 150 m south of Mulock Drive in the Towns of Aurora and Newmarket and Location B – Leslie Street from 130 m north of Mulock Drive to 40 m south of Gorham Street in the Town of Newmarket. Bidders are advised that the Deliverables will be performed during the 2023 construction season. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Any bids received from bidders who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. For complete bid details, refer to the RFT documents.
