The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Regional Municipality of York (the Region) developed its first Green Infrastructure Asset Management Plan (GIAMP) in 2017 which established a comprehensive framework for managing the Region’s green infrastructure assets, including the Urban Forest, York Regional Forest, and the Bill Fisch Forest Stewardship and Education Centre. In 2022, the Region completed an asset management plan update which included several advancements including introducing risk analysis, updated valuation methodologies, and alignment with requirements under Ontario Regulation 588/17. The Region is now initiating an update to the 2022 GIAMP to reflect changes in asset inventory, updated valuation methodologies, refined levels of service, and new focus areas to advance asset management practices. The Region is seeking to retain a qualified professional consulting firm (the “Supplier”) to provide consulting services for the Update of the Public Works Green Infrastructure Asset Management Plan. The Deliverables shall include, but not be limited to, those activities as more particularly set out in Appendix A – RFP Particulars.
