The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK – The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP), called by The Regional Municipality of York on behalf participating members of the York Purchasing Co-operative (YPC) is to obtain a Group Benefits Provider as outlined in Section 6 - Terms of Reference in the RFP. QUESTIONS: Questions related to this RFP shall be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the ‘Submit a Question’ button. Re: Award of Contract No. CRFP-2021-02 Group Benefits Provider
On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the following bids have been accepted for Contract No. CRFP-2021-02 for Group Benefits Provider for a contract term of five (5) years.
Part A – Industrial Alliance in the amount of $909,125.00, excluding HST.
Part B – Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada in the amount of $16,456,480.00, excluding HST.
These awards amounts are for the Region’s portion of the contract only and does not include other members of the Umbrella Benefit Group.
