BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - A general and not necessarily complete or exact description of the Work includes but is not limited to the following: submission of shop drawings and construction schedules, construction of temporary access roads using gravel and road panels, installation, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning of temporary above ground flow diversion system, rehabilitation of 840m of 825mm diameter reinforced concrete pressure pipe by cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP), rehabilitation of 1,043m of 900mm diameter reinforced pressure pipe by CIPP, rehabilitation of 57m of 900mm diameter cement-lined steel pipe by CIPP, structural rehabilitation of 20 maintenance holes and one flume chamber, and restoration of all disturbed areas to pre-existing condition and/or as noted on the restoration drawings.

Bids will be accepted from the following list of pre-qualified contractors as per Pre-qualification No. P-19-33:

• Clean Water Works Inc.
• LiquiForce Services (Ontario) Inc.
• Insituform Technologies Limited

Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration.

The Bidders’ Meeting will be held on September 17, 2019 commencing at 1:00 p.m.  The meeting will start at the in the parking lot at the Thornhill Golf Club located at 7994 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J 1W3 and will then proceed to the Upland Gold Course located at 46 Uplands Avenue, Thornhill, ON  L4J 1K2.

All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario.

Bidders are advised that the Region has implemented the Certificate of Recognition (CORTM) safety program, endorsed by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA), as a requirement on Regional construction projects. Bidders must be registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA in order to submit a Bid in response to this tender, and/or to be considered for award of the Contract.

Any Bids received from Bidders who have not registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA shall be rejected from further consideration.
