Brief Description: The Work includes, but is not limited to, the
supply and installation of the new garage exhaust systems at five (5) Paramedic
Response Stations (PRS). The following is a list of pre-qualified
contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender (“RFT”)
under Request for Pre-Qualification No. PQ-17-03: • Combined Air Mechanical Services • Modern Niagara Toronto Inc. • Canadian Tech Air Systems Inc. • Nutemp Mechanical Systems Ltd. Bidders intending to submit a Bid must be one of the contractors pre-qualified under Request for Qualification No. PQ-17-03 as listed aboveBidders are advised that a Bidders’ Meeting for all potential Bidders will be held on September 7, 2018 at 280 Church Street, Markham starting at 12:30 p.m. From here the bidders will be taken to the following sites to review the scope of work: • PRS# 39, (12825 Keele Street, King City) • PRS# 37, (1 Old King Road, King City) • PRS# 38, (15 Dillane Drive, Schomberg) A bid deposit in the form of a certified cheque, bank draft or Letter of Credit in the amount of $5,000.00 is required for this RFT. Bidders are advised that the Region has implemented the Certificate of Recognixtion (CORTM) safety program, endorsed by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA), as a requirement on Regional construction projects. Bidders must be registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA in order to submit a Bid in response to this tender, and/or to be considered for award of the Contract. Any Bids received from Bidders who have not registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA shall be rejected from further consideration. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the award of Contract T‐18‐31 Garage Ventilation Exhaust System Upgrades at Five Paramedic Response Stations within York Region is as follows:
Combined Air Mechanical Services was awarded a total amount of $95,055.00, for the follow Parts:
• Part A – PRS #11, 21001 Dalton Road, Sutton, in the amount of $20,930.00
• Part C – PRS #37, 1 Old King Road, Nobleton, in the amount of $28,515.00
• Part D – PRS #38, 15 Dillane Drive, Schomberg, in the amount of $23,035.00
• Part E – PRS #39, 12825 Keele Street, King City, in the amount of $22,575.00
Nutemp Mechanical Systems Ltd. was awarded a total amount of $28,098.00 for Part B – PRS #23, 280 Church Street, Markham.
The anticipated commencement date of the contract is October 15, 2018 and work shall be completed on or before December 12, 2018.
