BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Keswick Water Resource Recovery Facility(WRRF) is an extended aeration treatment facility originally constructed in 1984 servicing the Town of Georgina. An optimization study of the secondary treatment process at Keswick WRRF was completed to enhance the overall performance of the process while minimizing the operational impact and optimizing energy use. The study completed June 2018, recommended replacement of all four centrifugal blowers to improve operational flexibility, enable efficient and stable air flow across the full operating range, eliminate air flow performance gaps, reduce maintenance issues and improve reliability of the blower process. The tender for the Keswick WRRF aeration blower replacement includes: SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on Thursday, December 8, 2022 @ 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm The following is a list of pre-qualified General Contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Pre-Qualification No. RFPQ-838-22:

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Any bids received from bidders who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. For complete bid details, refer to the RFTC documents.
