The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada.

BREIF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Deliverables include, but are not limited to, the inspection, testing, preventative maintenance, deficiency reporting, emergency repairs and all relevant reporting documentation relating to fire extinguishers, emergency lights/exit signs, suppression systems and standpipe and fire hoses at various locations across York Region. MANADATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• DEPOSIT:  All Bids shall be accompanied by an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Wire Transfer. The total Bid deposit amount must be equal to the sum of the Bid deposit(s) for the Zones a bid is being submitted for by the Bidder.
  • Zone 1 - $40,000.00
  • Zone 2 - $20,000.00
  • Zone 3 - $30,000.00

BIDDER'S MEETING: A site visit / information meeting will not be held for this RFT.
