The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Prequalifications. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”) intends to procure the deliverables described in Section A of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). The Region is looking to prequalify General Contractor(s) to undertake the Newmarket Glenway Facility Upgrades. The Newmarket Glenway Facility is a water treatment booster facility located in the Town of Newmarket owned and operated by the Regional Municipality of York. The facility consists of two reservoirs, Reservoir 1 and Reservoir 2, with capacities of 4,700m3 and 5,800m3 respectively. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:
