December 6, 2022 Re: Request for Pre-Qualification No. RFPQ-837-22 for Prequalification Of General Contractors For Recoating Of York Region Elevated Tanks At Various Locations Across The Region From 2022 To 2027 On behalf of the Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise you that the contract for RFPQ-837-22 has been cancelled due to insufficient competition. The Region will be issuing the Request for Tender (RFT) for Recoating and Upgrade Of York Region Elevated Tanks At Various Locations in the near future. The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. DESCRIPTION: The Region intends to issue multiple tenders from Q4 of 2022 to December 31, 2027 for the recoating of elevated tanks at various locations across the Region. Detailed information regarding the scope of Work is provided in Section 4. This RFPQ is open to all contractors who wish to be considered as a pre-qualified general contractor to undertake the construction of the Proposed Works. CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
