Re: Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) No. PQ-19-229 - General Contractors for a Medical Office Retrofit at 20849 Dalton Road, Sutton (Georgina Link)
The Regional Municipality of York would like to thank you for responding to the Request for Pre-Qualification PQ-19-229. After evaluation, we are pleased to advise the following general contractors have been prequalified to submit bids for the construction of the proposed works during Stage II.

- Matheson Constructors Limited
- MJ Dixon Construction Limited
The Region has adopted a two-stage process for awarding the proposed contract:
Stage I: Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) of General Contractors.
Stage II: Request for Tender (“RFT”) inviting bids from General Contractors pre-qualified
under Stage I.
The objective of Stage I is to obtain and evaluate relevant information from interested general
contractors (“Respondents”) and to establish a short list of Selected Respondents who will be invited
to submit competitive bids for the construction of the Proposed Works.
During Stage II, the short list of Selected Respondents identified in Stage I will be invited to submit
bids during the RFT process.
Prequalified general contractors will be notified when the subsequent bid is being released.
