RFPQ-3762-26-26006 - Pre-Qualification of Contractors for Roof Replacement at Multiple Locations

The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Prequalification. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) is intended to establish a list of prequalified contractors who may be used for the future procurement of roof replacement and/or roof repair work at the following locations:

• 80 Bales Drive East, East Gwillimbury
• 100 Garfield Wright Boulevard, East Gwillimbury
• 194 Eagle Street, Newmarket

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

• OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (OHSMS) CERTIFICATION PROGRAM: Any responses received from respondents who do not meet the OHSMS certification requirements, as stated in RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A), shall be rejected from further consideration.  
• WORKING AT HEIGHTS TRAINING: Respondents are required to confirm that all personnel performing work that requires Working at Heights training will possess valid Ontario Ministry-approved Working at Heights training prior to commencing the Work. Refer to RFPQ Particulars - Appendix A - Section D-2.
