The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada.
Description: The Region intends to implement a Regional Sewage Servicing Strategy for the North West Vaughan area. The Region’s objective for the West Vaughan Sewage Servicing Project is to accommodate future growth servicing demands and to provide sustainable wastewater servicing. As part of this Regional Sewage Servicing Strategy, the Region will be expanding the capacity of the Humber Sewage Pumping Station from 1,700 L/s to 2,400 L/s.
The Work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new Humber Sewage Pumping Station and the decommissioning and retrofit of the existing pumping station. Upon completion of the Work, the Region will be provided with a sewage pumping station with a 2,400 L/s capacity, replacing the existing facility constructed on this site in 1982.
