Brief Description: The Region is
inviting bids from those companies who are certified with the National
Association for Information Destruction (NAID) for the provision of secure and
confidential on-site, mobile destruction of corporate records and printed
materials at various facilities located throughout York Region, using the
cross-cutting shredding method. A bid deposit in
the form of a certified cheque, bank draft or Letter of Credit in the amount of
$10,000.00 is required for this RFT. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from Cascades Recovery a Division of Cascades Canada ULC for Contract No. T‐18‐57 for Secure Document Destruction Services for Various York Region Facilities and Long Term Care Services has been accepted in the amount of $85,192.40, excluding HST.
This contract award is for an initial term of one year and includes an option for the Region to renew the contract, at its sole discretion, for up to four additional one year terms.
