BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Mask fit testing machines are crucial for ensuring that YRPS employees have properly fitted respirators, providing effective respiratory protection in environments where it's needed most.
The Selected Bidder shall provide the Deliverables in compliance with the following requirements and to the satisfaction of the Region:
The Supplier shall supply and deliver all products identified in Appendix B Pricing. The quantities in the Appendix B Pricing are estimates only, are not guaranteed, and are subject to change by the Region at its sole discretion.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

To ensure the highest standards of safety and accuracy, the following mandatory requirements must be met for mask fit testing machines:
• Must utilize a Condensation Nuclei Counter (CNC) instrument.
• Must be a quantitative fit testing (QNFT) device while providing a fit factor (FF) score.
• Must be compliant with Canadian Standards Association (CSA Z94.4-18), for fit testing procedures
• Must meet Health Canada performance criteria for respirators.
• Must be accurate within + 10% of the reading.
• Must measure FF greater than 10,000.
• Must have the following flow rates:
o Sample flow rate: 350 cm³/min.
o Total flow rate: 1000 cm³/min (nominal).
• Working fluid must be 99.5% reagent grade isopropanol.
• Must be capable of allowing York Region to store and manage fit test data internally and not through any cloud servers or third-party vendors.
• Must have the ability to print the test cards with the fit test reports.
• Must have the ability to generate reports for regulatory compliance.
• Must be approximately 7lbs or 3.18kg.
• Must come with a power cord and carrying case, allowing the device to be portable for use in various locations.
• Must be durable to withstand the following:
o Frequent use – up to 6 hours of fit testing operation per charge at 21℃ (70℉).
o Operate in temperature ranges from 0 to 38℃ (32 to 100℉).
o Storage in temperature ranges of -40 to 50℃ (-40 to 122℉).
• Must be compatible with various types, sizes, and brands of respirators
• Must have real-time monitoring and feedback during fit testing.
