On behalf of the Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise you that the bid for RFPQ-787-22 has been cancelled.

The Region will be reissuing the RFPQ for Northeast Vaughan Water Servicing Project – Vaughan Pumping Station Teston Road, Vaughan Pumping Station Jane Street and South Feedermains, YorkNet Fibre Conduit South. All bid takers will be advised when the new RFPQ is released.

The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS  submitted through the Region's Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Pre-Qualification. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK -  This procurement is for the prequalification of general contractors for the construction of a new water pumping station at Jane Street and Teston Road, and construction of a new water pumping station on the east side of Jane Street, north of Kirby Road in the City of Vaughan. A general description of the scope of work required is further described in Section A of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).

MEETING: Virtual Bidders meeting will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. To receive an invite, please contact via email, the Senior Purchasing Analyst listed below. All bidders are encouraged to submit any questions to the Region using the ‘Submit a Question’ feature in the Bidding Website, a minimum of three (3) Business Days before or after the information meeting. “

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS 

• CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from General Contractors who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration
