The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Prequalification. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The proposed work includes some or all of the following : • The excavation and removal of existing boulevard soil to a depth of 500 mm at each site • The excavation and removal of existing median soil to a depth of 1000 mm at each site • The supply and installation of a high quality engineered growing medium meeting the Region’s specifications at the trenched locations • The partial excavation of existing boulevard soil and incorporation of an organic matter soil amendments to a depth of 500mm at each site • The use of Hydrovac equipment to daylight underground utilities when excavation is occurring in proximity to underground utilities • The supply and installation of sod at each site • Traffic setups on busy roadways in accordance with all OTM Book 7 and Regional requirements For complete bid details, refer to the RFPQ documents.
