BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Work includes, but is not limited to, the rehabilitation of a pedestrian bridge at the Richmond Hill Centre Terminal located at 8675 Yonge Street in the City of Richmond Hill. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Any bids received from bidders who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $40,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. The Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Estimated Contract Price. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from Aplus General Contractors Corp. for Contract No. RFTC-662-22 for YRT Terminal Minor Capital Works - Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation at Richmond Hill Centre Terminal has been accepted in the amount of $656,825.00, excluding HST. (Term of Contract: - The Contractor shall complete the Work within 40 Working Days from the commencement date specified in the Region’s written notice to the Contractor to commence the Work.)
