The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK – The Region, on behalf of Housing York Inc., is inviting Proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide Consulting Services. The Services include, but are not limited to, Consulting Services for PTAC (Packaged Thermal Air Conditioner), Window and Door Replacements at Heritage East and Keswick Gardens. MEETING: Bidders are advised that a virtual pre-tender submission meeting will be held on September 14, 2021 at 9:30 am. Please submit your intent to attend to lynn.charyk@york.ca on or before 12 noon on September 9, 2021. A link to the meeting will be provided once your attendance is confirmed. QUESTIONS: Questions related to this RFP shall be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the ‘Submit a Question’ button. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from TELSTORM Corp. for Contract No. P-21-73 for Consulting Services for PTAC, Window and Door Replacements at Heritage East and Keswick Gardens has been accepted in the amount of $237,200.00, excluding HST, for a contract term of 320 Working Days from the date of the commencement letter for Heritage East and 200 Working Days from the date of the commencement letter for Keswick from the date of the Notice to Commence Work.
