The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Work shall include, but not be limited to, the supply of labour, equipment, materials, for the removal of waste in bins containing materials collected from bar screens at the Facilities, and haulage, transportation and disposal of the waste at a designated landfill site. DEPOSIT: Bidders must submit a bid deposit in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) when submitting their Bid. Bids received that do not include a bid deposit in a form acceptable to the Region shall be deemed noncompliant and shall be rejected. Bid Deposits must be submitted via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Wire Transfer to the account specified in the tender document.
