The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Region is inviting Bids for the prequalification of General Contractors, Mechanical Subcontractors and Electrical Subcontractors for the York Central Facility Upgrades as further described in Section A of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:
MEETING: A non-mandatory virtual meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 commencing at 10:00 a.m. All bidders are encouraged to submit any questions to the Region using the ‘Submit a Question’ feature in the Bidding Website before or after the information meeting. Although the meeting is not mandatory it is highly recommended. Please email Sue Eves, Senior Procurement Specialist at sue.eves@york.ca for the link. QUESTIONS: Questions related to this RFPQ should be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the 'Submit a Question' button.
