DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Region is issuing this RFPQ-758-22 for the construction of an Emergency & Transitional Housing Development using Passive House, LEED certification standards at 14452 Yonge Street, Aurora, Ontario (“Work”), to receive RFPQ submissions from qualified contractors (“Respondents”). The intent of this RFPQ is to prequalify general contractors to develop a list of firms, who will be eligible to participate in the following future procurement opportunity for the construction of an Emergency & Transitional Housing Development using Passive House and LEED certification standards at 14452 Yonge Street, Aurora, Ontario (“Work”). MANDATORY REQUIREMENT(S): Any submissions received from respondents who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. For complete bid details, refer to the RFPQ document. Re: Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) No. RFPQ-758-22: Pre-Qualification for Passive House Builders – Aurora Men’s Emergency and Transitional Housing Development
The Regional Municipality of York would like to thank you for responding to the Request for Pre-Qualification No. RFPQ-758-22: Pre-Qualification for Passive House Builders – Aurora Men’s Emergency and Transitional Housing Development. After evaluation, we are pleased to advise the following contractors have been prequalified.
1. M.J. Dixon Construction Limited
In accordance with the RFPQ document Section 2.3 - Stage III - Ranking and Selection under PART 2 – EVALUATION AND SELECTION, the Region is exercising it’s right to pre-qualify additional respondents by inviting submissions from additional general contractors, through the issuance of a supplementary RFPQ document.
The supplementary RFPQ will be posted on the Region’s Bidding Website in the near future. Respondents who did not pre-qualify under RFPQ-758-22 will be permitted to submit on the subsequent RFPQ process. Debriefs may be requested in accordance with the Region’s Bid Debriefing Protocol.
