April 12, 2023 Re: Cancellation of Bid No. RFT-912-22 Inspection and Preventative Maintenance of Standby Generators for York Region's Water and Wastewater Facilities On behalf of the Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise you that the bid for RFT-912-22 has been cancelled. The Region will be reissuing the Tender for Inspection and Preventative Maintenance of Standby Generators for York Region's Water and Wastewater Facilities under the same terms and conditions. All bid takers will be advised when the new Tender is released - RFT-1268-23. The Region would like to thank you for your bid and invites you to consult the Region’s Bids and Tender website at http://bids.york.ca for further bid opportunities. Sincerely, The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK – The Region is seeking a qualified contractor for the Supply and delivery of all labour, equipment, parts, materials, consumables, disposal fees, environmental surcharges, travel time, mileage, fuel surcharges and, any and all fees associated with providing preventative maintenance and inspection services, deficiency repairs, demand and emergency repairs for the Region’s Standby Generators. All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Wire Transfer. Bidders must submit a bid deposit in the amount of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) when submitting their Bid.
