ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ONLY submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website , HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK Bids for various landscape maintenance and watering activities on Major Mackenzie Drive and Rutherford Road in the City of Vaughan, as further described in Part A of Appendix A (RFT Particulars). The following is a list of pre-qualified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Pre-Qualification No. RFPQ-698-22
Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. MEETING: A non-mandatory Bidder's site meeting will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 commencing at 10:00 a.m. All bidders are encouraged to submit any questions to the Region using the ‘Submit a Question’ feature in the Bidding Website before or after the information meeting. Although the meeting is not mandatory it is highly recommended. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of $250,000.00 the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. Bids received that do not include a bid deposit in a form acceptable to the Region shall be deemed noncompliant and shall be rejected. Questions related to this Request for Tender (RFT) shall be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the ‘Submit a Question’ button.
