The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Deliverables include but are not limited to investigation and determining solutions to problems/issues identified by the Region with respect to any existing infrastructure at York Region Transit Facilities. Includes rectifying the issue and conducting general contracting repairs with respect to the identified problem to the satisfaction of the Region. The Deliverables include basic services and repairs at York Region Transit Facilities as required, including but not limited to basic services and repairs with respect to the following components at a York Region Transit Facility: 

• Concrete/Asphalt
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Painting/Drywall Repairs
• Building Finishes (tiles, drop ceilings, finishing trim, general hardware, etc.)

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

• DEPOSIT:  All Bids shall be accompanied by an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Wire Transfer in the amount of $40,000.00.
