The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK – This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) issued by The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”), to prospective proponents (each a “Proponent”) to submit proposals (a “Proposal”) for the provision for elevator preventative maintenance, elevator service and on demand service (the “Services”) at a number of community housing residential buildings owned and operated by Housing York Inc., six (6) independent non-profit housing entities and two (2) long term care facilities operated by The Regional Municipality of York as further described in this RFP.
