BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This Request for Tender (“RFT”) is an invitation by the Region for the Winter Road Maintenance Snow Removal, Hauling and Disposal in the Regional Municipality of York. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $40,000 for Part A, $75,000 for Part B, $20,000 for Part C and $5,000 for Part D in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. For complete bid details, refer to the RFT documents. MEETING: N/A QUESTIONS: Questions related to this RFT shall be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the ‘Submit a Question’ button. Miller Paving Limited for Part C, No. RFT-1496-23 for Winter Road Maintenance Snow Removal, Hauling and Disposal in the Region Municipality of York has been accepted in the amount of $2,454,660.00 for Rafat General Contractors Inc for Parts A, B, and D and $305,032.50 for Miller Paving Limited for Part C , excluding HST.
