website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT

The following is a list of pre-qualified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Pre-Qualification No. PQ-19-68: · Dynex Construction Inc. · Todd Brothers Contracting Limited · 560789 Ontario Limited o/a R&M Construction · Hawkins Contracting Services Limited · Melfer Construction Inc. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - Reconstruction of the existing Aurora SW6 Stormwater Management (SWM) facility in Tamarac Green Park, south of Henderson Dr., between McClellan Way and Ardill Crescent in the Town of Aurora, Ontario including provisions for site preparation including temporary access and fencing, removals and off-site disposal of existing accumulated sediment, trees (including any invasive species) and storm drains within the footprint of the existing facility; excavation and grading of the main pond cell and forebay areas; installation of new concrete headwalls, sewers and appurtenances, including an outlet control manhole and a flow bypass manhole to facilitate the retrofit pond maintenance; and paving and landscaping finishes. All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in
the amount of $250,000.00 and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The
forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached
as Schedules A and B to the Bid Form. Bidders
are advised that the Region has implemented the Certificate of Recognition
(CORTM) safety program, endorsed by the Infrastructure Health and Safety
Association (IHSA), as a requirement on Regional construction projects. Bidders
must be registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA in order to
submit a Bid in response to this tender, and/or to be considered for award of
the Contract. Any Bids received from Bidders who have not registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA shall be rejected from further consideration.
