The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK – The Region requires a Contractor to, but is not limited to, Boulevard Debris Pick and Disposal and Grass Cutting on Regional and City roads located in the City of Vaughan. All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Wire Transfer.
DEPOSIT - Bidders may submit a Bid for Part A, or Part B, or both Part A and Part B. Bidders must submit a bid deposit for each Part for which they are submitting a Bid. If a Bidder is submitting a Bid for only Part A, the total required bid deposit amount shall be Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00). If a Bidder is submitting a Bid for only Part B, the Total required bid deposit amount shall be Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00). If a bidder is submitting a Bid for Part A and Part B the Total required bid Deposit amount shall be Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00).
Bids received that do not include a bid deposit in a form acceptable to the Region shall be deemed noncompliant and shall be rejected.
