The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website at https://bids.york.ca (the “Bidding Website”). HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Work includes, but is not limited to, traffic control services during snow removal operations, emergency traffic control services and flagging protection services, as further described in Schedule B (Specifications). DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $75,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region, and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. The Performance Bond in an amount equal to 33% of the Estimated Contract Price in a form acceptable to the Region. Questions related to this RFT shall be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the ‘Submit a Question’ button.
