The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK – The Region requires a Contractor to complete Boulevard Maintenance within the Regional boulevards and central medians in the Town of Georgina, Town of East Gwillimbury and Township of King at the locations specified in the Location List in Table 1 of the RFT. Bidders may submit a Bid for any Part, a combination of Parts or all Parts. Bidders must submit a bid deposit for each Part for which they are submitting a Bid. If a Bidder is submitting a Bid for only Part A, the total required bid deposit amount shall be Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). If a Bidder is submitting a Bid for only Part B, the total required bid deposit amount shall be Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). If a Bidder is submitting a Bid for only Part C, the total required bid deposit amount shall be Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) If a Bidder is submitting a Bid for Part A, Part B and Part C, the total required bid deposit amount shall be Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00). Bids received that do not include a bid deposit in a form acceptable to the Region shall be deemed noncompliant and shall be rejected.
